Friendly hostel in convenient location

I just spent one night there, so cannot really judge everything. I chose it because it takes 1 hour to reach the airport from there (bus 1841), which is convenient especially for early flights. I just can say that the staff was really friendly and the bed was comfortable.

The people in the room were making sounds even after midnight. There should be a rule for quiet hours. Also, did not find a water dispenser, so had to buy water, which I usually don't.

Wonderful

Great hostel near Yuanshan station (red line). The beds seem overly firm but they're comfortable. There's a laundry machine and the internet is great. I'd stay again! The hostel is quieter and less busy than the more central hostels (near Taipei main station). It's close to the Taiwan Expo which always has some interesting event.

There aren't as many great vegetarian/vegan restaurants nearby and I found it hard to find healthier options. The hostel does not have a food waste bin.

cosy good hostel

the place and bed is so good , there is so quiet even someone going up n down. place is clean. they provide the slippers , hairdryers which is warm preparation. if you are juz a cosy traveller, this is a perfect hostel to stay. i will be back if i have chance.

juz be aware if you have a heavy luggage, they juz have stair, but they helped me to move the luggage to upstair,juz i made it when i left . three stairs.

Very Good

The hostel is located in a very good area from where its easy to reach other spots in the city very easily by bus or MRT. The hostel was very easy going and had everything we needed. We really liked the common space at the rooftop and the staff was also very very nice!

The only little note we have is on the cleanliness of the staircase, but the rest was really great!

10/10 experience in a great and viby suburban cafe/hostel.

The cleanliness and vibe are great, and the location which gives easy access to green, commute (MRT is only five min walk away, and it's a comfy walk) shops and eateries. It's surprisingly serene and unlike the hostels in the CBD this one's not bustling at all. The cafe downstairs is another surprise, it gives a great vibe and discount. Cats and dog are friendly and unbothering. I sat there to work for an afternoon and I was liking it. I could see green and people occasionally walking by, soothing. Staff is helpful and great in general. The interior is chic in design and absolutely clean. Cafe area is a free space where takein food and beverage are allowed post-five in the evening. There's a comfy and spacious public area in the second floor which is altered from an old accommodation area. Toilet and shower room are clean. Shampoo and washer are provided. Stable wifi connection included. What's most satisfying is the rooftop with an open terrace and the table and a few seats, where you can enjoy your time with a great view, covering greens and cool undermetro walk, with majestic mountains on the far left. It's also the social area where you can meet a lot of cool ppl and international travelers. I met a lot of cool friends and we had a great night together drinking snacking, laughing and chatting. And the whole stay was in reasonable price. All in all, it was a 10 out of 10 experience, coming from a seasoned international backpacker.

My toothbrush and paste along with the cup while lost because I left it on the public rack by the toilet. There was no sign saying I shouldn't put it there and I saw other personal objects on it but they were gone overnight. But I know the same stuff who did the cleaning who helped me retrieve my lost phone n wallet so it could have been my mistake.

Exceptional

Perfect! I especially appreciate how the doors to the dorms were quiet (my bed was next to the door). Also very comfortable common rooms (on 2 levels) and great location on the Red Line just steps away from the MRT station.

The Five Elements: Cleanliness, Location, Relaxation, Friendliness, & Style!

The location is super convenient. Only walk to the end of the street, and you're at the Yuanshan MRT station. There are convenience stores, good noodle shops, cafes, boba tea shops, and a breakfast shop all within a 2-5 minute stroll. If you prefer to cook, they also have a full kitchen with induction stove, countertop oven, and microwave. The place is impeccably modern, stylish, clean (including the bathrooms), and well thought out interior design. Do note, there is no elevator. Upstairs roof area is spacious & relaxing, both indoor and on the balconies. The staff are incredibly nice. Had a bunch of great chats and food suggestions from Bo Shin. Would recommend this place to any solo travelers.

Lots of places to chill, and there were other guests around, but during the 3 days I was there, the guests were mostly Taiwanese, and stuck to their groups. Though I admit, I was also on my laptop mostly, doing work. Don't think there were any other foreigners there, but that's most likely because of Covid and travel restrictions, not the fault of any particular hostel. Dorm beds are clean, bedding comfy, room enough, though a tiny bit creaky/noisy when someone in the upper bunk moves. But, not really that bad at all. They also offer free earplugs at the front desk.
